It’s the time of year to collect all your Hazelnuts (or buy a bag)….
Spread onto a cookie sheet and place into a 350 degree oven (pre-heated) for 10 minutes. When they’re ready the skins will split and you’ll notice the darker colour…
Cool them for 1/2 hour or so then place them in the middle of a clean kitchen towel and wrap up the ends to create a bag…Roll the nuts around in the bag to loosen the skins (or most of them).
I roasted the whole bag because I plan to freeze what I don’t use today.
